TH100 Doctrine of the Bible

A study of the issues: inspiration, canon, authority, inerrancy, clarity, necessity, and sufficiency.

TH130 Doctrine of the Trinity

An exploration of the doctrine of the Trinity examining the key Biblical texts, issues in worship, and the Early Church debate on Christology. Also, there will be an apologetic discussion responding to objections from Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and others who deny the Trinity.

TH300 Doctrine of the Second Coming

This course is taught from the Prewrath perspective, but believers holding other viewpoints are welcome, since the course will interact at certain points with Pretribulationism, Posttribulationism, and Preterism.  An emphasis will be on the Day of the Lord, which is one of the most important but often neglected topics to Christ’s Return. Pertinent Old Testament passages, for example Isaiah and Daniel, will be examined. And New Testament teachings will cover Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, Paul’s Thessalonian Epistles, and the book of Revelation. The millennial issue will not be covered in this course; instead the focus will be on the immediate events surrounding the Lord’s return.

TH300 Introduction to Apologetics

As an integrating study of the rationality of the Christian worldview, this course takes a philosophical approach to Christian apologetics while critically examining the approaches to such topics as the existence of God, the reliability of Scripture, miracles, the problem of evil, science and the Bible, and secular ideologies. Both biblical and philosophical answers are explored.

TH400 Biblical Counseling

The course teaches biblical counseling for those in suffering and sin. Exploring how to use biblical counseling in outreach for unbelievers and discipleship for believers.
