TH300 – DOCTRINE OF THE SECOND COMING
Registration OPEN. Class will begin January 26 and meet every Thursday for eight weeks from 6:30-8:30 pm. For this class, we will be meeting at the Calvary Gospel Church in Wayne located at 1559 Hamburg Turnpike. CLICK HERE to download the course orientation (Teacher is Kurschner).
This course is taught from the Prewrath perspective, but believers holding other viewpoints are welcome, since the course will interact at certain points with Pretribulationism, Posttribulationism, and Preterism. An emphasis will be on the Day of the Lord, which is one of the most important but often neglected topics to Christ’s Return. Pertinent Old Testament passages, for example Isaiah and Daniel, will be examined. And New Testament teachings will cover Jesus’ Olivet Discourse, Paul’s Thessalonian Epistles, and the book of Revelation. The millennial issue will not be covered in this course; instead the focus will be on the immediate events surrounding the Lord’s return.
OT100 – OLD TESTAMENT SURVEY

This course teaches the CASKET story method to learning the Old Testament: Creation, Abraham, Sinai, Kings, Exile, Temple. The story of God’s redemptive plan as progressively revealed in the Old Testament is emphasized. If you have never formally studied the Old Testament, here is your chance to learn the “CASKET” method of the Old Testament as story. Thousands of students have learned the Old Testament through CASKET, making the Old Testament come alive for them for the very first time.
